Best day ever. The kids loved it, and there was so much to do and see. We saw turtles, the food was spectacular, and the waterslide was a winner. I highly recommend this tour for all ages.

Was not at all a good experience. We booked the whole day cruise for 10 people which included Scuba Diving, Glass bottom boat, submarine and snorkelling. To start with the diver instructors scared our kids and were trying that we don't do Scuba Diving and shift to Seawalking. May be less staff or over booked. For lunch they said it will be only open between 12 and 1.30 and our Diving time was also 12.00 so by the time we come out of dive and get ready the lunch was over. The staff was not cooperative ... Overall we had a very bad experience.

Fabulous day. Love the reef, what an experience. The food was good, the snorkeling even better! Staff were friendly, so many areas to snorkel and we even swam with a turtle. We paid extra for a helmet dive. Loved that, would recommend, worth the $$$.

I’ll start by saying we did go out on what seemed a very busy day. The staff gave minimal direction on the pontoon except to say don’t go back on the boat wet as it’s a dry boat. The staff lacked interest in helping people find the right kit and left it as a free for all between the passengers. I don’t blame them some what as they must get asked the same questions over and over. Lunch is on the boat and not the pontoon like another company we went with last year. This meant having to get in and out of a stinger suit twice both times they were wet. What ended up happening is many passengers ditching the suit after lunch which isn’t ideal. We had a low tide after lunch also which resulted in the lifeguard constantly yelling at people not to stand on the coral because some people didn’t seem to get it. This also resulted in lots of people swimming in a small area. Overall the kids enjoyed the slide which got busy after lunch. The sub was good but we didn’t get time to go on the boat. Overall it was a good day but the whole stinger suit twice was a pain.

We went on this tour last week. It was generally enjoyable. Snorkelling was reasonable, but Moore reef seems to have suffered from coral damage. The guide on our glass-bottomed boat gave good information about the marine life, but I strongly object to her comments about climate change. They were either false, or strongly slanted to imply that climate change does not exist, is nothing to worry about, or is entirely natural. For example, the claim that climate change always happened and therefore something to expect - without acknowledging that past climate change was far slower, and happened when there were no humans to suffer from it.

We went to Moore reef and it was nothing but amazing. The staff were incredible and so attentive and friendly! Definitely recommend doing the snorkel tour and finishing the day with some ice cream on board! Would book again!

From the moment we started boarding we felt included. Stopped for a photo on the dock, which we later purchased, then got a great seat at the back of the catamaran for the 2 hours or so journey to the dock. A very informative & professional young lady called Georgia was most helpful in explaining how the day would progress, where we needed to be & how things would work. It’s a well run day & we had an absolute ball snorkeling the reef! There’s also an underwater viewing platform & this is the ONLY reef tour with a waterslide! This tour is a MUST do when in Cairns.

Immerse yourself in the exquisite beauty of the outer reef on this fun-filled Great Barrier Reef Day Tour from Cairns. Departing from the Reef Fleet Terminal, this experience is packed with inclusions and will ensure that your time on the reef is filled with wonder. What are you waiting for? Dive in!

Guests on this Great Barrier Reef Day Tour from Cairns enjoy exclusive use of a custom-designed floating pontoon at beautiful Moore Reef — roughly fifty kilometres east of the city. The journey to the pontoon takes around two-hours each way. Relax with a coffee and take advantage of the complimentary onboard Wi-Fi. The journey always flies by!

On arrival at Moore, you’ll have around four hours to enjoy the reef. Think crystal clear water, colourful coral, an abundance of fish, and friendly resident turtles. All ages and swimming abilities are catered for on the well-appointed pontoon. Snorkel the surrounding reef (with easy access to the water from two platforms with stairs), swim in the enclosed ocean pool, or ride the 30-metre spiral waterslide straight into the ocean! Safety is paramount and a trained lifeguard is always on duty.

Those who prefer to stay dry can take a spin in the semi-submersible craft or glass-bottomed boat. The underwater observatory offers wonderful views of the reef and its inhabitants, and children can get up close and personal with marine life in the touch tanks.

The included serve-yourself lunch showcases tantalising tastes of Tropical North Queensland, including Coral Sea prawns, fresh salads, and seasonal fruits. It’s a meal as colourful as the reef itself!
