A very good trip. We had a knowledgeable and friendly driver, and the journeys up and down were enjoyable despite the winding roads. Unfortunately the clouds came as we approached the top, but it was still interesting to walk around and see the Visitor Centre. Anticipating this, the driver had stopped on the way up, and we got a view at that point. It took about two and a quarter hours all-up.

This was a great and easy touristy thing to do in Hobart. Meet the bus near the Information Centre, hop on and let the driver do all the hard work for you. Our driver was very good and gave good commentary. The trip up was scenic and informative. There was time to walk around and take amazing photos. The bus was very comfortable. It was well worth seeing Hobart from the top of Mt Wellington, but we were very lucky it was a clear day. A cloudy day might have had a different outcome.
