  We thoroughly enjoyed the walking tour of the rocks. Our guide Anne was passionate about the history and so knowledgeable about many topics of interest. She had a wonderful understanding of the development of the Rocks area over time, highlighted by interesting stories and tales of many of the diverse historical characters. Some of the highlights were the Garrison Church and the painted history timeline. We would highly recommend this tour and admire the dedication of the volunteers who make the area come alive for those on the walking tour. Thank you Anne!

  We came here with very little knowledge on the history of Australia, but Rhiannah our guide was great at giving details about the buildings and significant people, and also explaining the culture of that time that just made us appreciate the area all the more. July had wonderful brisk weather, so walking around for 1.5 hrs wasn’t too bad. Be prepared for some steps though! But overall this tour is highly recommended!

  My bestie and I are massive history buffs and we were not disappointed by this tour. Our guide Vickie was amazing – friendly and so informative. She shared stories with great enthusiasm and knowledge, and was able to answer almost every question we had. The pace of the tour was good, and Vickie stopped to ensure everyone could see/hear before she told stories. She led us through some amazing little laneways and to some wonderful views. I would absolutely recommend this tour!
